Racing Glaciers

Racing Glaciers are an indie rock five piece from the North West of England. The Racing Glaciers sound encompasses acoustic balladry, atmospheric post-rock grandeur, searing shoegaze and dark psychedelia, augmenting a rock band core with diverse instrumentation taking in brass, cello, flute and warped synthesizers. RG’s arrangements support lead singer & multi-instrumentalist Tim Monaghan’s abstract lyricism and instinct for pop melody. Taking inspiration from inner & and outer landscapes, RG offer up spacious sonic realms for listeners to explore. Racing Glaciers' music has featured on major motion picture & television soundtracks. The band have performed at venues across the UK & Europe, and festivals including BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend and The Secret Garden Party.
